Under the title "Energiesparen auf dem Stundenplan: Eine Schule in Stuttgart als Modellprojekt der EU" Deutschlandradio has produced a 20 minute broadcast on the School of the Future project. Reporter Uschi Götz has investigated the background of the project, the expectations of pupils and the plan for the refurbishment of the German demonstration building Solitude Gymnasium in Stuttgart. Interviews with the project partner Dr. Jürgen Görres of the City of Stuttgart, project coordinator Hans Erhorn from Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics and last but not least EU Energy Commissioner Günther Oettinger give insights into the project and the underlying EU policy.
