School of the Future with specific session at the International Conference on Solar Heating and Cooling for Buildings and Industry
The 2nd International Conference on Solar Heating and Cooling for Buildings, organized by the IEA-Solar Heating and Cooling Programme and the European Solar Thermal Industry Federation, will be held in Freiburg from September 23rd to 25th. Focus of the scientific conference is on the development of active and passive solar technologies for building applications, including energy efficiency.
Within the framework of the Conference sessions, the side event Schools of the future: Towards NZEB and Surplus-Energy will take place on Tuesday 24th. The event will host five presentations from School of the Future project participants, including a general presentation of the project; the presentation of the German, Italian and Norwegian demonstration buildings and the results of the technology screening for school building renovation.
